Any SDUSD teacher who has coordinated or is working to coordinate a swimming lesson program for their students can get certified in WSI for free. Scholarships are provided by the Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego. The goal is for more teachers to join the lifeguards in the pool as swim instructors. CEU credits are also available!
