The CCTE culinary students from Garfield, Hoover, Mira Mesa, Morse and San Diego high schools invited Staff to join them on Thursday, October 17 for a Taste of San Diego Unified, featuring Sunset Bites – San Diego Unified’s student-run food truck.
Staff and students alike stopped by the Ed Center front lawn anytime between noon and 2 p.m. to try the delicious creations from student culinary stars and see the student-run food truck fully in action for the first time!
All food was free, and each guest was able to try their choice of chicken tacos or sliders, as well as acai bowls, appetizer samplers, deserts and more from the various CCTE culinary program booths.
